SoFresh opens in Westshore

SoFresh, the Tampa-based fast-casual salad and wrap chain, will open a location in the city's Westshore business district on Monday.

SoFresh has taken over the 1,250-square-foot former Fitlife Foods space in Town Square Center, a shopping center at the intersection of Kennedy and Westshore boulevards.

Father-and-son team Eric and Colin Mathers are the franchisees behind this location — the pair's first SoFresh.

“We are very excited to bring SoFresh to Westshore Blvd. and be able to serve the area with healthy and made-to-order menu items,” John Williams Jr., SoFresh CEO and founder, said in a statement. “For every meal sold on opening day, we will be donating a meal to the ER Nurses of Tampa General Hospital.”

SoFresh plans to add eight to 10 locations in 2021 across Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. In October, SoFresh announced franchise deals in St. Petersburg and Boston.
