RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Pharmaceutical company signs deal to move HQ from Palm Harbor to Pasco APS Pharmacy, which was acquired by Colorado-based Belmar Pharma Solutions in May, has signed a lease for 22,000 square feet in Odessa's Asturia Corporate Center.
Asturia Corporate Center offers office-flex space, which means the space is flexible for a number of uses from office to light industrial. The new location will accommodate future growth for APS operations.
The property, a 254,000-square-foot industrial park, is owned by Harrod Properties.
Deals like APS are critical to economic development in Pasco County, which has long been a thriving bedroom community for the Tampa Bay area. Business and civic leaders are working to grow the county's corporate base to keep more workers — and the money they spend on gas and work lunches — in the county.
Caleb Lewis, a managing director with JLL, represented APS in the lease. Harrod Healthcare Real Estate president Graham Mavar and Stuart Kessler, vice president of leasing and development, represented Harrod.
“In spite of the tight market conditions in the Pasco County flex market, we were able to identify a centralized and modern facility to help APS Pharmacy meet its near-term and long-term business needs through a facility expansion and realignment at Asturia Corporate Center,” Lewis said in a statement. “The expanded footprint will allow APS Pharmacy to execute on its growth strategy while providing a better work environment for its growing employee base in Florida.” |
