RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Bausch Health Signs New Industrial Lease in Tampa Bausch is expected to move into its new space in October 2020. This deal represents an expansion in the Tampa market for Bausch, which occupies the entire 171,000-square-foot building at 8500 Hidden River Parkway.
Centrally located between Interstate 4 and US Highway 301, the Cabot at Aprile Farms business park is owned and developed by Cabot Properties in Boston. Building 1 totals 241,455 square feet and was constructed in 2019. It features 60 loading docks, two drive-ins, 32-foot clear heights and six-inch floors. Up to 114,000 square feet remains available for lease in the building, divisible down to 26,000 square feet.
John Dunphy with JLL's Tampa office represented the landlord in lease negotiations. Peter Cecora and Scott Claiborne, also with JLL's Tampa office, and Jodie Matthews with JLL's Parsippany, New Jersey, office, represented Bausch Health.
"Bausch was looking for additional space to service [its] growth in the area. This aligns with what we're seeing in the market, that companies are expanding or moving into the area due to population growth," noted JLL's Dunphy in an e-mail to CoStar Group. "We believe the Tampa/I-4 corridor will bounce back quicker than most cities due to the underlying fundamental strength of the market." |
