Insurer Humana is filling 200 new call center jobs in Tampa Bay

The insurance company Humana announced Wednesday that is is seeking to fill 200 new phone sales positions in Hillsborough County.

People hired will provide national phone sales and help with enrollment for Humana’s Medicare benefit plans and specialty positions. They will also assist new Medicare Advantage members pick a plan that best meets their needs.

The new employees will work at Humana’s recently renovated call center at NetPark, 5701 E Hillsborough Ave., which is near where interstates 4 and 75 intersect.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma or GED. Having a health insurance license is a plus, though Humana says it will pay its sales agents to obtain a license and for in-depth certification and sales training. To apply online, go to careers.humana.com
