Clearwater apartment community sells for $78 million
The Vue at Belleair near U.S. 19 and Gulf to Bay Boulevard is barely a year old.

CLEARWATER - The Vue at Belleair, a 339-unit apartment community made up of 11 buildings, has sold for $78 million, property appraiser records show.

Although it was completed just this year, the complex at 1551 Flournoy Circle W is 93 percent leased with an average rent of $1,615. Amenities include a rooftop terrace with views of Tampa Bay, a coffee bar, two dog parks with washing stations, a car care center, a saltwater pool with cabanas , spin rooms, a video game room and a billiards table.

"The Vue at Belleair is a gorgeous asset offering best-in-market design and amenities,'' said Luis Elorza of Cushman & Wakefield, which represented Flournoy Development Company of Georgia in the sale to Castle Lanterra Properties of Suffern, N.Y.

The sale price was $230,088 per unit, among the higher per-unit prices paid for a bay area apartment community.
