Two out-of-state companies to build major distribution center in the Tampa Bay area
The Seffner facility will be strategically located between interstates 4 and 75.

SEFFNER - Construction is expected to start in August on a 303,006-square-foot distribution center in Seffner.

The vast building at 6337 County Road 579 will have more than 60 dock positions, more than 300 auto parking spaces and 36-foot clear height.

Built on speculation for an undisclosed cost, the facility will have distribution/warehouse space for one or two tenants and enable them reach customers throughout the Southeast.

Partnering on the project are Texas-based USAA Real Estate and St. Louis-based US Capital Development, a St. Louis-based company making its first foray into Florida. "USCD's entrance into the Tampa market was motivated by low vacancies and a demand for more modern and efficient facilities,' said Scott Sachtleben, the company's managing principal. "The building is strategically located between I-4 and I-75 making it a prime location for distribution."
