Tampa hotel near USF sells for $19.3 million

TAMPA - The Home2 Suites near Busch Gardens and across from the main entrance to the University of South Florida has sold for $19.3 million. The 106-room hotel at 11606 McKinley Drive "attracted a large crowd of investors because (it) was virtually brand new and because of its location at the doors of USF,'' said Christian Charee of CBRE Hotels, which represented the seller, Highgate, in the sale to Hotel Acquisitions 4 H2, LLC of Syracuse, New York. Built in 2017, the hotel has a large breakfast area, an outdoor pool and lobby with business center.
