RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Tampa Harbour Yacht Club sold to Charleston-based Port 32 Marinas The Charleston-based company, formerly Atlantic Marina Holdings, is renaming the marina Port 32 Tampa.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Tampa Harbour meets all our criteria," Port 32 managing principal Joe Miller said in a release. "The marina is large, well built, and maximizes use of the site… Tampa Harbour is also dominant in its trade area, being one of few drystacks on the east side of Tampa Bay."
Leisure Property Advisors of Colliers International announced Tampa Harbour was for sale in June.
The marina has 720 dry slips, staging slips, 25 leasable wet slips, a fuel dock, transient dock, pool, commercial space and Hula Bay (an on-site restaurant/bar). Its location in the Westshore Marina District provides access to Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
The Tampa site is the fourth marina that Port 32 has bought in Florida in the last three years. Other marinas are nearby Tierra Verde Marina Resort in Tierra Verde, Fort Lauderdale Boatyard and Marina in Fort Lauderdale and PGA Marina in Palm Beach Gardens.
Once Port 32's marinas in Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach Gardens are completely updated in 2019, the company will operate nearly 2,600 slips in Florida and 3,600 slips in total. |
