Safety Harbor's Mullet Creek Resort gets permit

SAFETY HARBOR - The city has issued a permit to developer John Mahan to build Mullet Creek Resort, a small, three-unit boutique hotel near Mullet Creek.

Mahan now has one year to break ground on the project at the northeast corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Philippe Parkway before his permits expire. According to the plans, the resort will be two stories and 5,468 square feet, and each unit will be designed as a suite with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and a living room.
