Another Broken Egg, Irish 31 headed to Clearwater Beach

The North Beach Parking Plaza in Clearwater Beach will bring with it more than just additional parking spaces.

Two restaurants are in the final stages of negotiations for the street-level retail space in the garage at Poinsettia Avenue and Baymont Street: Tampa-based Irish 31, an Irish pub, and Another Broken Egg, a breakfast and brunch concept.

The garage, developed by Safety Harbor-based Paradise Ventures Inc., has a total of 11,788 square feet of retail space. Another Broken Egg will occupy 3,226 square feet; Irish 31 will take 2,700 square feet.

The development broke ground last week. Beyond the parking, the project represents another offering for that pocket of Clearwater Beach, which is a destination for tourists and locals between Pelican Walk Plaza and Frenchy's Original Cafe.

Irish 31 is a rapidly expanding restaurant chain, with locations in Hyde Park and Westchase. Another is under construction in Westshore Plaza.

Another Broken Egg is a national chain, with locations throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Locally, it has locations in Tampa and another in Clearwater, in the Countryside area.
