RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Tampa's Liberty Group picks up 317-room hotel portfolio Liberty has closed on a 317-room hotel portfolio consisting of the following properties throughout the Sunshine State:
The company is planning to renovate the hotels and improve the operating efficiency, it said in a statement.
In the past 18 months, Liberty has acquired or opened 14 hotels representing approximately $125 million in investment.
"The upper select-service segment of the hospitality industry continues to outperform other real estate investment sectors, and we are pleased with this accretive transaction acquiring premium-branded hotels while adhering to our disciplined investment strategy," Liberty CEO Punit Shah said in a statement.
