Hav-A-Tampa property sold for $4.2 million, to be redeveloped into office space

The former Hav-A-Tampa property in East Tampa has been told to a corporate user that plans to expand its headquarters there.

Bisk Education, an online education company in Tampa, paid $4.2 million for 135,000 square feet of office space and 15 acres in Sabal Park, according to a Hillsborough County deed filed Wednesday.

The Hav-A-Tampa property will be connected to Bisk's other properties in Sabal Park, the company said, bringing the corporate headquarters to a 27-acre campus and 265,000 square feet of office space.

"This investment supports our long-term strategic vision to provide an infrastructure for future growth and innovation. We now have the opportunity to expand our operations as well as build a more open and collaborative workspace for our 900 employees," President Michael Bisk said in a news release.

Rick Narkiewicz, a first vice president with CBRE Group Inc., represented the seller in the transaction.

"Due to its high quality construction, excellent location and high parking ratio, 3901 Riga Boulevard is an ideal candidate to be repositioned as an office building. It will be rewarding to see the redevelopment of this building completed," Narkiewicz said in a statement.
