RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Westshore Center on the market Cushman & Wakefield of Florida Inc. executive director Mike Davis, along with senior directors Rick Brugge and Mark Lerner, have been marketing Westshore Center for about two weeks, Davis confirmed Tuesday.
Davis said interest in the building at 1715 N. Westshore Blvd. has been "very strong" and that the group intends to call for offers in about two weeks. The seller is Boston-based TA Realty Associates, which paid $23 million for the building in 1998, according to Hillsborough County property records.
The nine-story, 216,410-square-foot building was built in 1984. The lobby was renovated last year and the property includes structured parking, according to marketing materials.
At close to 88 percent occupancy, the building has more vacancy than most others in Westshore. With more than 20,400 square feet available, the building has significant upside potential - and this is a good time to do it, with office vacancies trending downward in downtown Tampa and Westshore. |
